A Dramatic Analysis? [Tips on mood/feeling? :D]Alright, I was bored lately and decided to re-watch a bunch of my childhood movies.
So I saw Bambi again, after like... 13 years. :iconmingplz:
So usually I remember things from movies like that.
BUT NO.
13 years is too much lol.
So, anyway. I did notice something about Bambi that seems to be 'lacking' in a lot of [if not all] films nowadays.
Not entirely sure what it is. Maybe it was that I couldn't believe they made that movie like, 70 years ago and it still had the quality of movies today.
But the backgrounds were incredible, they seem to be even more realistic [or just had a greater sense of fantasy] than the painted backgrounds of traditionally animated movies nowadays. The atmosphere was sort of like a dream, honestly, in the backgrounds. And the odd thing is... the colors used were darker. O_O Now, dark colors to not necessarily create one feeling! OkayLately, things have been difficult, and I'm not sure if it's getting easier. Every time I feel like things are getting better, they make a turn for the worse. But then they manage to get better again. I don't get it, it's just so irritating.
I think I'm going to be okay, though. I'm working hard to figure everything out, and I've been seeing the guidance counselor at my school. It feels really good to have her to talk to. I know I've also got support from my friends, online and off, as well as my teachers and family.
I'm still moody, but today was a good day. I was pretty happy, and I think it was from gym. I didn't really feel anything else but tiredness, lol.
It feels like the people that know about my problems are doing everything they can to help me. I can see how hard they're trying, and I can't thank them enough. I really don't think I'd be able to get through all this without them.

Some Things I LikeWell everyone seems to be posting depressed journals lately, or are depressed, or leaving dA, or pet peeves and I just thought that some positive atmosphere could maybe lighten things up <3. So here are some things I like!
-->Pretzels. They're delicious. I keep being told to save them for school lunches but Im kind of failing at that... Baked pretzels are good as well. I remember one time, not sure where unfortunately, I ended up in a shop that sold nothing but pretzels. so cooooolll.
-->The ocean. Seriously, I love the ocean. Im strange but I love the smell of seaweed and rotting salt stuff as well. and sea glass.

New Year's ResolutionsAlmost 2013! There's so much I need to do in the coming year. Here's my list of things to be done:
-start commissions and art trades
-make refs for my characters
-try out new drawing techniques
-draw more often
-upload more
-take some art classes
-learn to paint

-practice with different mediums

OmgHey guys.
Guess what.
I'm caught up on my science project finally.

I was working on it at like 2:45 in the morning lulz. I'm currently running on just 3 hours of sleep. My teacher was really proud of me though, and at last that stupid headache is over with. Well... for the most part. I'm caught up, but there's still the presentations. Gosh I don't like presenting things. Too many people. Staring. At. Me.
...Meh, I'm just self-conscious I guess. I'm working on it though.
I will still be very busy, as my homework has taken too much of my time that I need to get back. I've got tons of chores and stuff, and I'm going to start studying more often to bring up my grades that last little bit. Apparently I'm below everyone at my school athletic-wise as well, and I have to work on that as much as I can.
So many things to work on with me. Haha it doesn't feel like I'm getting very far. I keep saying "I will do this" or "I need to work on that", and I put in so much effort for those things, b

Great comics you should read

i like reading them :I just going to put that out there.

So, this journal is to show what I like to read, as well as a suggestion if you're just bored and want to read comics about fantasy, and animals and such. Oh, and apocalypses.

Anyway, i've read a few things like:

- "Off-White" by *akreon and =tanathe

- "Zonoya's Revenge" by *shaloneSK [it's actually quite entertaining for a fanfiction... i usually don't read those but i find that one pretty well-done.]

- "Black Blood Alliance" by ~KayFedewa

- "Guardians" by *akeli

- "Over the Mountains and Far Away" by *Skailla

- "Jack the Black Shark" by *zavraan [READ it. It's a complete comic with over 300 pages and beautiful artwork and a great story... more people need to read it. :I]

- "Ink" by *TamberElla

- "Romantically Apocalyptic" by `alexiuss [The most detailed comic I've come across, it's creative and I find myself laughing in nearly all of the pages... it's a hilarious read. xD]

so... you guys probably, after reading that list understand a bit of my taste when it comes to comics...

Also, does anyone have any suggestions that... I might like to read? owo; I feel the need to just read a bunch of stuff so if you know of any well-made comics that you like I'd be happy to read them, even if they are fanfictions.
