my turtle diedyup so... yesterday i found out my turtle finally died after 11 years... actually, not quite 11 years, tomorrow would have been his 11th birthday!after i owned him for a few days i was told he wouldn't live 2 weeks, and look what happened. after that i was told painted turtles only live 5 years in captivity, but that lasted much, much longer!before you ask no, i am not sad. he lived a looong life and died of old age, for the past few months i noticed him slowing down and becoming weaker with old age, and he happily died yesterday.i've had this guy almost my entire life! it's going to be a bit weird not having him around... haha. i don't feel weird right now because right now i haven't truly comprehended that he is gone forever you know haha.but after a few days with not checking on him and feeding him i think i'll get it.well! wow a whole 11 years! now that was something.
thank youFor all the nice comments and support from everyone who showed concern for me over the past couple weeks...I read every single one of your comments and some of your life stories and your own experiences, and every one was really nice. not a single one of them was trollish, angry or anything [which on most of my 'big' drawings and such have at least one of those a lot of the time] and i may not have replied to them all but i want you to know i really appreciate it, all of them.remember my grandparents are not only in a better place but are in an unimaginable, incomprehensibly, infinitely better place. ~SP
Just the Absolute Biggest Coincidence...EDIT: HEY LOOK WHAT APPEARED AT #1 ON THE FRONT PAGE TODAY: Okay, I have the biggest need to share this with practically everyone I know, so here goes.Alright, so I just read The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy by Douglas Adams [excellent book and series, read them please] and so I imagine the main character, Arthur Dent, to look exactly like Bilbo Baggins from The Hobbit. [The film... I just finished reading that book too, haha.]So Bilbo Baggins was played by Martin Freeman. And after reading The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy I decided to watch the movie and see how decent it was.And I said, "Hm, that would be awesome if Martin Freeman was the actor for Arthur Dent. After all, that is my perfect headcannon..."And so it happened. :iconmingplz:I nearly flipped a table.
What to say after a guy insults you[Read this slowly and with an accent for full effect~]"Alright, alright, I may be stupid, dumb, and just plain ignorant, but I know your secret!""Uh...""Yep! That's right! You can't fool me, no way, because I know that you're... actually... A DUDE! You can't hide behind them girlish features and excessive mascara forever!"...:iconteheplz::icontransparentplz::icontransparentplz::icontransparentplz::icontransparentplz::icontransparentplz::icontransparentplz::icontransparentplz::icontransparentplz::icontransparentplz::icontransparentplz::icontransparentplz:EDIT: *cough* some have asked me what to say if it's a girl. You say this."Behind all that cologne and those thick, manly eyebrows LAYS A WOMAN!!!!111!!"
YellowfangOkay, then.Yellowfang was a hippie medicine cat. A cat who never fights in battles and stashes... "herbs"... She had a raspy voice and yellow teeth. Her pelt is dark gray, and her eyes are orange. The color of a lit cigarette and its contents. Even worse, her apprentice was CINDERpelt.AND SHE DIED OF SMOKE. AHAAAAA.Yellowfang's Secret: ...she was an addict, and look how horrible your children can turn out if you take drugs at the same time!?

My Grandpa died.yup....he was a good guy, he was a wonderful christian guy and he gave it his all to serve Him.He was old, in pain, and he literally starved to death. He was well past his 90's. [he was my great grandpa]However, he thought he was 115.So yes, I'm sad, but i know he is much, much happier now.
I hope he won't be forgotten!
